The much-loved Lion Salt Works museum run by Cheshire West and Chester Council here in Northwich has been shortlisted for a prestigious award from the National Lottery.

It’s the only site in the North West to have been shortlisted for the Heritage Award.  It is now a scheduled ancient monument just like Stone Henge! But it needs your help to win the £3000 award as it now goes forward to public vote.
