This talk by Cheshire RIGs will be an investigation into the distribution of past and present volcanic activity, why some eruptions are more explosive than others and look at the hazards and resources associated with volcanoes. In addition, we will also review the monitoring of volcanic activity taking place around the world on the day of the talk led by Dr Ian Drew.
